Transcript

Psalm 85 1 to 7 says, You Lord showed favor to your land. You restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins. You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger. Restore us again God our Savior and put away your displeasure toward us. Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations? Will you not revive us again that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love and grant us your salvation.

Father would you restore your church? For the dry and thirsty land let your river flow again. In fact Lord let it gush. Father I pray that the walls of the church would not be able to contain your river. That Lord life would gush from your bride into our communities. May we be conduits Lord of your love to our families, to our neighbors, to our co-workers, people we go to school with, to everyone we touch. Father would you revive us again so that we will again rejoice in you and your salvation. Would you take us back to that place of our first love? Lord that place where you were our first thought in the morning and the last thing that we thought of when we went to sleep.

And Lord when we were sleeping you were the sweet of our dreams. Father would you take us to that place again? Lord you give us eyes only for you. Let us not be distracted by all that's happening around us but that we would seek your face always and only. Lord you are high and lifted up. Your word says you are high and lifted up and the whole earth is filled with your glory. You are the king of kings that sits on your throne. In Canada you have dominion. You sit on your throne over this country. It is our desire to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to you.

We love you Lord and we love your presence. Would you reignite our hearts for more of you? Take us Lord back to that first and greatest commandment. Lord we say that we love you our God with all of our hearts, with all of our souls and with all of our minds. Amen.
