One of the things that I really appreciate about being a part of the prayer ministry is I get to meet all kinds of people from all kinds of walks of life, from all kinds of ethnicities, from all kinds of age ranges all over the country. It is pretty amazing. It is really a fun job. I tell you, it has been a great uh almost five years of doing this here in Ottawa, discipling the nation to pray, helping people to pray. My biggest joy is when when new people learn to pray or or when people learn what the voice of the Lord sounds like in their prayers and and then they act on it. So often I hear, especially from seniors, that they feel like their lives are on a shelf. They feel like
society isn't paying attention to them and they feel like they are put away and left on a shelf. I want to say this to you seniors. You are very, very valuable to the body of Christ. And I know sometimes it feels like you are on the shelf. But I want to encourage you that it's not a shelf, but it's a display case. And it is a display case of the goodness of God in your life. It's a display case of the faithfulness of God in your life. And I know many of you are praying for your families and for government and leaders. But know that place that you are. You are so valuable. And the city in our nation, we need you. We need you to be praying. We need you to be calling out to God and interceding
on behalf of this nation. And I want to say to you, thank you. Thank you for those because I know many of you are up in the middle of the night and you're calling out to God for your families and you're calling out to God for your nations, for your church, for your pastors. I know you are. And I want to say thank you. And your life, you're not on the shelf. You are a display case. You are in a display case because the faithfulness of God abounds and flows all the way from you to those around you. So I'll say this. Don't forget to tell people what God is doing in your lives. his testimony, the goodness of God, the faithfulness of God. Just this past little while, I've got a chance, I
think, on five or six occasions to share my testimony of coming to Jesus when I was just 10 years old, but it was a powerful testimony. I almost forgot it. So, dust off those testimonies. Blow the dust off of those testimonies. blow the dust off all those things that God has imparted in you and share them with people because our people need to hear the goodness of God and what God is doing. Like I've said before, God is doing many things in in the nation. He's doing big things in little places. I'm Chris Bert, the director of the National House of Prayer. We'll see you next time. Bye for now.
